With his limitless creative skills, incorporating choreography into his portfolio was seamless. John has not only invented original and popular moves such as ‘skoro skoro’, ‘shi shi’ and ‘tamba’, but also easily adds modern lines to well-known Zimbabwean moves. As a result, he is one of the country’s most popular wedding choreographers and to date has choreographed over 500 ceremonies.

In 2021, he danced and choreographed a full show, John Cole: Live. His work is also featured in multiple productions including ‘Mukoko’ by Ammara Brown and Tytan, ‘Ngaibake’ by Freeman and Alick Macheso, ‘Jecha’ by dance-hall king Winky D and the Mdhara Vachauya Album Launch for Jah Prayzah.

John has also worked with several national and international performers including Vimbai Zimuto, Patoranking, Freshly Ground, Joe Thomas, Brick and Lace, Salma Sky, HHP, Oliver Mtukudzi and UMOJA.
